This Is Thirty!

Today marks thirty years that I have been in this world and an incredible thirty years it has been! Although I’ve experienced my fair share of hardships and low points, I feel blessed to say that I lived a good life so far and the way I celebrated my birthday this year perfectly reflected that. I was born into an amazing family and I have made friends along the way who are just like family and having them all in one space sharing this milestone with me was everything I imagined it to be. Although this is a travel blog, I hope you don’t mind me taking a second and sharing with you one of the most amazing days of my life, my 30th birthday celebration! We ate, drank, and danced the night away. Despite a few hiccups here and there it turned into an unforgettable night that, days later, still has my happiness meter off the charts. Honestly I had such a wonderful time. Plus, I cannot tell you how thoughtful all the gifts that I received were! For example my best friend bought me an Amazon gift card. I absolutely love internet shopping and sometimes it feels like I order something new from Amazon at least once a week so I cannot wait to put this gift card to good use! There are already a few things on Amazon that have caught my eye. For example, I am in desperate need of some new appliances for my kitchen so I think I am going to buy a matching kettle, toaster, and microwave set.
